How We Work
What is a land trust?
A land trust is a private, non-profit organization that works to conserve land and open spaces through the aquisition of land or negotiating conservation agreements/easements on land. Land trusts work with landowners and the community to conserve land by accepting donations of land, purchasing land, negotiating conservation agreements on land and providing stewardship of conserved land.
