Ready to dust off your hiking boots after the winter? Want to help your local trails get fixed up for the spring, summer and fall?
Well, now's your chance! The Land Trust of the Treasure Valley is teaming up with Idaho Conservation Corps to host a spring trail cleaning day in Harrison Hollow on Saturday, March 10th. Come ready to help us get our trails in order - from tread and drain maintenance, to pruning - we're going to do it all in one go!
All tools and instruction will be provided. Volunteers should expect to hike anywhere from 1-4 miles and use hand tools on uneven surfaces to complete manual labor. Please bring water and snacks if you desire them. This project is suitable for everyone ages 12 and up - we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult.
As much as we (and Harrison Hollow) love hosting your dog, we do ask that you please leave your pooch at home.
Plan to meet at Harrison Hollow Trailhead. From there we will carpool to the site.
