Calendar Photo Contest Details and Rules:

1.  Anyone may enter a photo of their favorite dog for consideration as a featured calendar dog.

2.  Photos must be of dogs in the Foothills or along the Boise River through the Treasure Valley. Photos must be appropriate - i.e. don’t share photos of off-leash dogs in an on-leash only area.

3.  Image file must be high resolution. Only photos 840x1080 pixels or more will be considered. The larger the file size, the better. Be sure to include the name of the dog(s) and photographer for proper attribution.

4.  To submit:

  1. Email submissions to Hollie at HConde@LTTV.org or

  2. Share via google drive, dropbox, or other file transfer service.

5.  To be considered, photos must be submitted by October 31, 2018.

6.  Submitting photos gives the Land Trust permission to use that photo in print and online in promotional materials, including all social media platforms. When possible, the photographer will be credited.

7.  Winners will be selected by the Hounds Calendar Committee. The calendar will feature photos taken in the environment typical for that month, so submitting photos from winter or the ‘shoulder’ or rainy season may improve your chance of being selected.

Our dogs are family. We love them, pet them, and take a million pictures of their happy faces. The fifth edition of the Treasure Valley Hounds Calendar is more than a way to count the days. It’s a way to show off our favorite family members while they’re out enjoying the place we call home.

Proceeds from calendar sales go towards Land Trust programs. Stocking mutt mitts at the off-leash Hillside to Hollow Trailhead, organizing trail maintenance and poo pick-up days, and stewardship projects like goathead removal (paw prickers!) are possible because our supporters love the foothills as much as their dogs. Each month features a furry friend in the foothills or along the Boise River, smiling and tail wagging on our beautiful Treasure Valley trails.

We invite you to join us as a Treasure Valley Hounds Calendar Sponsor to help keep costs low so that as much of the proceeds as possible will benefit the programs mentioned above. Benefits include advertising in the calendar; your logo on all promotional materials including social media, email blasts and website; acknowledgement in the spring newsletter; and the opportunity to directly reach the Treasure Valley’s dog loving, conservation-minded, adventurous and active community.
