Lands We Own & Manage

South fork willow creek

Nestled between ID-55 and Bogus Basin Road are 320 acres of sage-covered foothills, referred to as South Fork Willow Creek. Adjacent to the east boundary of Avimor and bounded by BLM land, South Fork Willow Creek serves as essential overwintering habitat for a variety of wildlife. It also provides access for recreation as it hosts miles of trails for hiking, running and mountain biking. The proximity to residential development made it a prime candidate for development thus the need for immediate protection.

Saving South Fork Willow Creek from potential development was only possible due to the incredible support from community members like you. Within only 6 weeks, nearly 500 community members, businesses, and foundations helped us raise $250,000 to save this treasured open space from potential development. We have been blown away by the incredible support and dedication. Thank you!
