Honoring Longtime Protections: LTTV Becomes Perpetual Steward of 440 Protected Acres

October 30, 2025 — Thanks to the conservation efforts of our partners at the Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation, 440 acres within the Treasure Valley have been protected for nearly two decades — preserving vital wildlife habitat, open space, clean water, and scenic beauty.

Now, the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley is honored to take on the role of perpetual steward for these special lands. This is just the first two easements of four that we will be taking into our care. We’re committed to ensuring that the conservation values IFWF worked so hard to protect continue to thrive for generations to come.

Stay tuned for more collaborations in conservation between IFWF and LTTV! Partnerships like this strengthen and accelerate our collective impact—especially in the face of development pressures quickly sprawling through the Valley.
